“Friendslop” doesn’t sound like the most complimentary of terms, because it describes multiplayer games that have a little jank to them and aren’t particularly polished. They usually revolve around one core mechanic, include amusing physics, and don’t take themselves too seriously. But they’re a heck of a lot of fun to play with friends; some of the most successful examples include Peak, Phasmophobia, and the recent Meccha Chameleon.
